The MVP's


The MVP's are one of the top musical acts performing today.  A collection of world class talents, they have played to millions the world over, from Mandalay Bay Las Vegas to the AT&T Olympic Centennial Park at the 1996 Olympic Games before an audience of more the 50,000.  They have appeared with such greats as Santana, Ray Charles, Gypsy Kings and Chaka Khan as well as more contemporary artists including pop superstar Jessica Simpson & Kelly Clarkson (Jan. 12, 2005), the band mixes Rock, Soul, Latin groove, and dance rhythms to create a World Beat sound all their own.


Sold out shows are the norm whenever the MVPs perform. They create the magic and energy that gets the audience involved both on and off the stage, and the enthusiasm and skill of their talented singers, dancers, and musicians, has deservedly gained them a national reputation.


The MVPs are fronted by the dynamic song and dance trio of Wes Quave, Trey Parker, and Deanna Johnston. Their sophisticated and energetic choreography provides the exciting visual entertainment you would normally find only on a major concert stage.  The rock solid musical foundation is built on veteran virtuosos Derek Frank on bass and Joel Alpers on drums. ASCAP's director of film and television, Mike Todd, lends his musical expertise as lead horn player on alto saxophone. The band's guitarist is industry veteran Chris Clermont, who has toured and recorded with numerous platinum artists, including Barry White, MC Hammer, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Doggy Dogg, among others. The music director is well known composer and keyboardist Justin Reinhardt, who scored the hit film "Swingers", and whose music has been featured in popular TV shows including HBO's "Sex and the City". On percussion / drums, the group's founder Ric Grea, brings twenty years of experience in music production, on stage and in the studio.
